mhare and pebi doing "japan"..hehehe
met with mhare, jerick and dianne this afternoon for lunch at rob manila.. being unemployed and broke has its advantage because mhare and i were able to persuade jerick to pay for our lunch..hahahaha!!ironically, their lasagna taste like rubber sole. yay!

i headed to quiapo after our brief get together, hoping some copies of les quatre cents coup (the 400 blows) are still available but i found none. hay.. i should have bought it the last time i was there! kung alam ko lang na hindi ko mabuburn ang copy ni mon.huhuhuhuuhuhuhuhuhuhuhu!!!!
i even wasn't able to purchased heroes season 3, ugly betty season 3 and gossip girl season 2 because, according to my suki, the copies available are not yet complete. for the love of hans morgethau i don't want to spend my entire christmas break doing acads stuff!!huhuhuhuhu!!!

since i started my life in solitude, i found an unlikely comfort in FM radio. when i was killing time at lola's library every morning, i only tuned in to morning radio shows such as good times with mo in magic 89.9 and tambalan in 90.7 love radio. but since i started going home late after my classes, i learned that i can still find enjoyment and detox remedy from FM radio with the brewrats show, hosted by dj tado, dj ramon (bautista) and dj angel (erning of strangebrew) in 99.5 RT.
at first you will think its a typical dumbass late night show hosted by drooling dumbasses since they are persistently inferring that they are (the DJs) are illiterate and hence only the illiterates listen to them. tado even keeps on commiting grammar error and makes no excuse whatsover about it. and they talk as if they are in a tagayan minus the pulutan. hahaha!! tunog manyak nga minsan si tado at ramon tapos si angel naman panay hirit lang ng "tama!" kaya parang mga lasing lang talaga sila. yet they really are not talking about nonsense all the time. their claim to illeteracy is merely a satire. since i started tuning in to them, they've already tackled numerous relevant and intelligent topics such as indie movies in the philippines, human rights, press freedom in campus, pinoy music and many more. they even had poety reading and radio drama, but the latter is more of a kalokohan. i think they are just presenting themeselves "uneducated" so that those who deemed themeselves "uneducated" too will listen to them and hence they will be able to extend to these people the knowledge that is being manipulated by the petiburgis (like myself). hehehe. besides, who will ever believe that ramon bautista is illiterate? eh prof sya sa UP. mukha lang sya adik minsan sa tv at sa radyo pero sabi ng friend ko magaling daw sya magturo.wahahahaahahahaha!!
kaya naman, wasak na wasak na ako dahil sa kanila. hahaha!!

I WISH IT'S TWILIGHT ZONE INSTEAD but the movie has its moments. i got to admit, i love the scene when edward invited bella to their home and his family prepared her a meal even if they really do not eat, and when they invited her to their baseball game. it is simply poignant yet not overly sentimental. thank goodness i didn't pay to see twilight, at least hindi ko pera ang nasayang.hahahaha!! but goodness gracious, british guys are HOT! l'eau, sil vous plait..hahaha!
yes, edward cullen had captivated me too, but don't get me wrong. i didn't enjoy twilight as much as the other teenage girls and gays did.

J'ADORE ANTOINE DOINEL! i am officially mesmerized by françoise truffaut’s most adorable character, Antoine doinel, the nonchalantly mischievous yet innocent pre-pubescent boy from his film the 400 blows (les quatre cents coup). his charm transcended generations and even you see the film 30 years after its premier you will still find Antoine doinel’s beyond irresistible. In other words, he is soooo cute!!
Video below is one of my favorite scenes in the film. It was when doinel was interviewed by the resident psychologist of the juvenile institution where he was sent for stealing his typewriter from his father’s office. FYI: according to truffaut, the scene is entirely unscripted. He only told jean-pierre leaud (the boy portraying doinel) to improvise his own answers to all the questions. See the sincerity in the boy’s eyes? Genuine!
