pelicula/pelikula: spanish film festival at greenbelt 3 starting oct1-12!the event will showcase award-winning spanish films (they will be featuring a cannes film festival palm d'or awardee) and other non-spanish films by reputable spanish directors..i hope they'll screen an almodovar film, unfortunately there's none..hay..

tapos na ang term paper presentation kay ronas!shet ikaw ba namang igisa ng bonggang bongga!!hay..i must unlearn this bad undergrad habit of writing my term paper based on historical timeline..tsktsk...dapat theoretical framework daw!THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK!THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK!!pero kasi naman.i was able to answer my research questions, plus i had the entire paper revolve around the framework..pero kasi, ang hirap i-dissect ng kaso ng paper ko kung hindi ganong pamamaraan ang gagamitin..kaya lang..hay,i should have known by now na ganon ang istilo ni ronas!punyemas!!i will really going to enrol on his class next sem, magtutuos uli kami..hehehe
shet may exam pa pala sa kanya next monday!!waaaa!!!!nakakaiyak na..pero sige lang, kelan ba ako sumuko?go lang ng go!!hehehe...

this is probably my most favorite picture of the sublime michael angelo adrid, also know as miguel/miguelito/migs. this was taken in some mongolian resto in robinsons manila after the presentation in our saturday class two years ago. we were all dressed up like some neophyte corporate slaves. among the boys, miguel was donning the most flamboyant assemble, complete with a frivolously colored necktie. see that "head band" he's wearing :)

september is a bitch and my time is running out.. have to finish two term papers and a reflection paper in 4 weeks. there's an exam by end of the month. make it a "pre compre" exam in disguise. waaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!my head will explode anytime soon!!!cuba and russia, please don't make my life a living hell...

i really should learn to resist the lure of the book shop atop the mister donut store at the shopping center! i instantly go on a splurge spree whenever i visit the it. last week i purchased a bootleg copy of once from there. and last night, right after i had my handouts photocopied, i once again sneaked to the "temptation shop" and found a dvd copy of i'm not there! i purchased it without thinking twice, even if it means i have to sacrifice dinner.hahaha! gad i'm sooo elated.
hahahaha!! masokista ako! kung ang mantra ni rizal sa buhay ay libro bago pagkain, ako naman ay pelikula bago lamon..pero minsan, i share the same mantra with rizal..hehehe :)

below is an oscar oida interview of eraserheads circa 1999. who would have thought that three years since this interview the band will bid a bitter goodbye to their fans. hay... in fairness, ikumpara mu sa ibang banda sa panahon ngayon, hindi matinée idol looks ang bentahe ng eheads. they were the quintessential UP dugyot personified but nobody cared. substance is still more essential than projection, kaya kahit siguro sa henerasyon pa ng mga kaapuapuhan ko papatok pa rin sila.
