i don't get easily impressive by this kind of movie but i was on the edge of my seat the whole time while watching it! it was exhilarating. i haven't seen a movie for a long while and i should say the dark knight is such a wonderful treat. the joker was sheer joy! he is pure evil yet very, very hilarious. i love i love!!!! i really enjoyed it when he dressed up like a nurse (complete with a fiery red wig) and blew up a hospital. it's kinda absurd to laugh in such a merciless sight but i can't help it because he's non-verbals are absolutely funny. mr. ledger just turned himself into a cult icon through the joker's character. oh by the way, christian bale is soo hot. yun lang :)
apart from the joker, i think we should commend the writer and the director as well for making this version a sensible one. the audience are not merely spectators enjoying the explosions and car chases. they are encouraged to ponder upon the moral dilemmas posted by the characters and the circumstances. mr. nolan turned a comic- based movie into something cerebral. i'm absolutely impressed.
i have to get a dvd copy of the dark knight when it's out!it definitely deserves a space on my shelf.

anong klaseng kanta na naman ang maririnig natin bukas sa taunang konsyerto ng gloria? tiyak kalokohan na naman. wala pa man ang konsyerto, andyan na si igme handang tamaan ang sintunado. sana talaga asintado sya. kung hindi man umubra ang tropang si igme,ihanda na lang ang kamatis para ipambato sa gustong magpapogi.
kahit iparetoke pa kay belo ang itsura ni inang pinas, tiyak wala ng remedyo. kung meron man, tiyak matinding grasya mula sa langit at hindi gloria ng mga nuno sa punso ang kailangan.

i was already in UP this morning but decided not to attend my anthro class this afternoon. i just borrowed some books for my IS 290 term paper, went to the OUR for my ID photo session and hopped into the nearest MRT bound jeepney in sight. my feet were drenched with drainage water (it's been raining all day you see) and i've been carrying an armload of books all day. and with this scenario the last thing i would want to do is go home late at night... nah! i'm only trying to justify my newfound delinquency. hehehe..

moymoy palaboy and roadfill are one of the reasons i stay up late on a friday. these guys had made themselves relatively famous by lip-syncing some spanish songs and some very gay songs in youtube. hahaha! now their part of iyotube, bubble gangs' spoof of the world's favorite video website youtube. when i first saw them in bubble gum doing their lip-sync version of wannabe by the spicegirls, i practically gag my mouth with the nearest throw pillow that i can reach just so my parents will not be disturbed by my frantic laughter. iba talaga dulot ng pagiging bored sa tao, kung anu anu nagagawa.
here are some of their vids and notice their mom (that's their mom i'm sure) going about her daily chores at the background. if i were their her i'll join them, that is after i whack them with the kettle i'm carrying. ansarap kasi nilang batukan dahil sa kagaguhan nila. wahahahaha!

i never realized how surprised my classmates were when i presented and elaborated my report in IS 290 last night mostly in filipino. with the look in their face when i mentioned estado ng pandaigdigang merkado, suberenya ng mga bansa among others, it seems they seldom hear those words that have been part of my daily life in college. friendly debates with my peers or some quintessential conversations are not complete without an occasional mentioning of the words marksismong pananaw or estado ng lipunan among others instead of their english counterpart. as a matter of fact, articulating my most ardent political thoughts in filipino is like a second nature to me. even some people i knew in college who speak effortless english never fail to impress me with their fluency in our own language. mas hanga pa ako sa mga taong kayang magpahayag ng opinyon sa kanyang sariling wika kaysa sa mga gumagamit ng ibang wika para lamang makuha ang paghanga ng iba.
and why, you may ask, am i still blogging in english? ipinapraktis ko lang ang bano kong ingles :)

been to UP yesterday to meet up with jayson. then i saw herbert while we are outside the main lib and we chatted for less than an hour to kill time. then we parted. while munching some odd-tasting alfredo jayson bought from a food kiosk just outside the main lib, ditch materialized. parang multo lang.wahahaaa!! we talked for a little while just before i went to my class.
like what jayson said "kaya yan mag isa kasi kung hindi yan ireg, nasa grad skul yan." i guess he's right. no wonder there are so many lost souls in UP. hehehe
