i enlisted 2 subjects for this semester but for some obscure reasons only IS 290 appeared on my schedule!!! hinayupak!! whatever happened to my IS 261?!
i cannot take only three units this sem! what i'm i supposed to do with my time?! it's an absurdity!! what am i gonna do? if i'm still in UP Manila this will not be such a big problem because i can easily manipulate my schedule (the power vested to registration assistants which i once was hehehe). but now... what am i gonna do?! what am i gonna do?! and what on earth is a prerog anyway?! oh my goodness!! oh my goodness!!

someone asked if its fine for me to meet up with him, why not was my unhesitating reply.
so he arrived. he looked more like makisig morales than ryan agoncillo now on his short, messed-up do he calls corporate haircut which he seemed to detest. it's pretty obvious he lose some weight. corporate world is taking its toil on everyone.
the encounter was even faster than the road runner. after some odd exchange of remarks on each others hair ("bakit ka nagpakulay ng buhok?" he asked, "bakit ka nagpaikli ng buhok?" was my reply) and a credit card offer (rather curious conversation topics) we said goodbye. nice seeing you again were his parting words, au revoir was mine.
it's nice to see him again yet it was a little awkward. but i realized that the attraction is now a thing of the past :)

apart from kicking ass in graduate school, my new mission in life is to stalk michael manotoc. yes, you are correct, he's borgy's brother. wahahahahahaha!!! but he's far better looking than his bro, in a very greeky fashion (which by the way is one of my ultimate turn ons *wink*).
i saw him this morning at the computer center while i had my email address revised. he's getting his webmail account i supposed. the ate at the computer center, as bibo as she always is, proclaimed enthusiastically to all of us who are in the room that the tall guy who had just left is borgy's brother and he's admitted to UP College of Law. "mas gwapo sya kay borgy" i abruptly retorted. the other girl concurred.
well then i reckon i'll be spending more time at the UP Law library than usual. wahahahahaha!

just finished watching my sassy girl for the nth time this afternoon (hence the title so stop giggling now). actually, the last time i saw it was i think three years ago.before the hollywood adaptation premiers here in the country, i decided to see it again.
of course the entire plot will never change no matter how many times i see it. i only understand it better and love it more since the first time i saw it. i still laughed on the same fun antics, sighed on the same kilig parts, and cried (only this time just a little) on the same touching scenes.
by the way, this is my all time favorite scene. yeah sure it's soo cheesy, but i am quite positive all girls wanted their boylets to follow the same rules as well :)

it was just supposed to be just me and anne. but since we haven't seen each other for along while, the two of us decided to invite along janine, marbie and ralph. we're supposed to stay at dencio's till 6pm (or at least just me), but herbert arrived and ordered another batch of red horse and bangus sisig (yummy) so we left pass 8pm. i was having some sort of skin allergy that is why i didn't partake on the alcohol frenzy, that is if you call 12 bottles of red horse alcohol frenzy, haha!

we are quite familiar of hollywood's obsession of remaking well loved asian movies and another addition to their long list is my sassy girl, one of the first korean movies i've seen and loved.
of course, it is expected, that hollywood will definitely alter the plot to suit their (mediocre) taste. as much as i wanted to hope the hollywood adaptation will turn out as amazing as the original, i doubt it will. sana tantanan na nila ang pambababoy ng matitinong pelikulang asyano. i wonder, does hollywood is running out of original ideas?
by the way, the hollywood adaptation is directed by the french director yann samuell. he directed love me if you dare, a french movie as unique as my sassy girl (korean version). i reckon he is one of the reasons for me to see this version because i really love his previous film. i hope he would give justice to this adaptation, even just on the cinematography and sounds, and i'm keeping my fingers really crossed. haha!

i detest ABS CBN for remaking my girl (one of my favorite koreanovelas) and for putting kim chu and gerald anderson on the lead roles. for crying out loud these two do not even know how to act! they are just bunch of freakin' eye candies without substance! their acting is still very lousy to think they've been in show business for more than year already since PBB Teen Edition 1. kim only has one expression: aghast. and gerald, don't you even get me started on him! they deliver their lines like some prerecorded voice mail: irksome and dull. and the emotions they convey are very artificial, obviously scripted. i'm getting tired of seeing this two wasting their time on things they CANNOT do. the korean actress who portrayed jasmine (the lead female) was absolutely good and kim chu will surely butcher the character she finely created. gad! kung si sarah geronimo pa nasa lead, ok pa sana! these TV companies should start to reassess their actor choices for their shows because the viewers are no longer just passive spectators. they now demand sensibility on their TV every night becasue they are very much tired already of the usual crap these TV stations offer.
my goodness! why was i not born during the time of sampaguita and LVN picture, when talent is given primary importance over marketability. the neo-capitalist world sucks big time!

looking for a decent boarding house/dormitory inside and around UP DIliman is far more difficult than i could ever imagine especially if your in a budget. for one, the application for the university dormitories is very tedious and there are like tones of applicants every year because the fee is unbelievably cheap, for as low PhP350 per month. you can never get any living space in QC, and anywhere in the entire country, with that price.
hay, have CSSP released the result of grad school application a little early.... anyway, there's no point lamenting :) it's just a freaking boarding house problem. QC is overflowing of it.wahahahahahahaha! after all, UP has a vast land area and there is such thing as squatting.. hehehe.
by the way this david cook guy, one of the finalists of american idol 7, i think he'll hit it big commercial, with or without an AI title. and although what seemed to be his ticket to fame is the song "always be my baby" , i still am impressed of his "happy together" rendition. maybe i am a little biased to this song because it reminds me of a wong kar wai movie with the same title.
and since when did i start to talk about american idol in this blog?hahaha!

i now have a part time job (in convergys commonwealth) and i'll start on june 23rd. yeah i know i am a sell out, well i reckon most of us are. besides, you can never find a part time job that pays really well nowadays. the only thing left for me to do then is settle my schedule for this semester and find a boarding house in quezon city.

i first seen faye wong in wong kar wai's 2046. but i feel in love with her quirky character in chungking express, another wong kar wai flick. i never realized then that she sings professionally, until i stumbled upon her music videos in youtube. her version of the look of love blew me away and i never realized a chinese singer can sing an english song with such clarity. her singing is a bliss.

no, they are not intimidating. but they will not make you feel at ease either. they are very very scary , though they don't see dead people.
i was asked various questions such as: why on are do i want to become an International Super star? why, from a Parasitic Symbiotic specie, do i want to join the highly sought-after International Super star group?i responded confidently on each of them. but this particular inquiry is very interesting that after letting my nerves took over for a split second i just wanted to hide my head under some tree.

my portable DVD player, my only source of transient bliss (panandaliang ligaya), had left me..huhuhuhuhu!!!without any warning, it suddenly crashed!*sniff*
how am i supposed to finish gossip girl and the simpsons season 9 now?!huhuhuhuhu!!i'm half way through this the simpsons season and watching it had already been a vital part of my daily life since heaven knows when. like a daily maintenance medicine for a diabetic. huhu!! i will no longer hear nelson's obnoxious "ha!ha!" and homer's trademark "d'oh!"*sniff* and although i don't really like gossip girl that much because i'm not into young elitists creating problems out of nothing, i just can't get enough of dan humphey! i reckon this is reasonable enough for me to endure the preposterous cat fights of the highschool socialites in this show. huhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhu!!!worst, how am i supposed to start my personal film festival?!huhuhuhuhu!!

i'm supposed to read up on current events and relearn to write a composition decently, but i opted to finished watching hana kimi (japanese version) instead. to those who have no knowledge about hana kimi (where have you been?hiding underneath an ancient rock somewhere in madagascar?!), it is about a japanese girl from america who transferred to an all-boys school in japan and disgused herself as a boy to "fulfill a personal task". a taiwanese version and a japanese one almost simultaneously running on free tv right now. the former airs on ABSCBN, while the latter is on GMA. but i got hooked with the japanese adaptation (note:hana kimi is an anime) since i get to watch it after work because all the buses bound to cavite from manila are all tuned in to ch7.
i should say i love japanese movies and djoramas (their version of telenovelas if i'm correct) because they are very japanese. though at times exaggerated and more anime-esque to our taste, they still firmly stick with their style and never try to "westernized" their work. sure they had their fair share of overt cheesiness and cliches (when mizuki bid farewell to her newfound friends, i nearly wallowed) but at least they are bounded to their unique japanese style. hence, hana kimi and hanayori dango (yes, i once got addicted to it, too) had introduced something fresh from my tear-weary and bitch-slapping-infested tv habit. 
above all, i think japanese guys are scorching and hence my newest quest in life is to look for a japanese papa! hahahahaha! and like any other hana kimi (jap version) aficionado, i too had fallen under the spell of the very kawaii toma ikuta! for one, he was able to pull off nakatsu's character perfectly. i was actually rooting for him and mizuki (the girl) because their chemistry is so good. unfortunately, he is not the one who got injured and can't do high jump anymore (sorry for the spoiler).
now i have a valid reason to go to japan and stay their for a long while. I HAVE TO SEE HIM IN FLESH. hahahaha! geez i knew i should have studied nihonngo instead of french..hmm nah, je t'aime la langue française. toma ikuta peut attendre.hehehe..

i went to an online english tutorial company in alabang for a second interview yesterday. like any other applicants, i only expect to be interviewed and be hired, hopefully. while painstakingly waiting for my turn to get grilled, the HR manager handed the rest of us in the waiting area an envelope. perplexed, i opened it thinking it is some sort of an exam or maybe some inspirational card wishing us goodluck. to my surprised a crisp PhP200 bill is inside! whoa! then the HR manager had me signed a sheet of paper labeled "transportation". so we got 200 bucks for just showing up! swell! talk about being generous.
now that's what i call consideration. to think it only cost me PhP95.00 to get there.
