i was shocked upon hearing the sudden death of Pakistan's erstwhile prime minister Benazir Bhutto . my reaction may come as a surprise to you my loyal reader/s, but i've been following the news on the situation of Pakistan these past few months and it somehow occured to me that Bhutto might get killed. her death will surely leave Pakistan's elections this January 2008 in limbo. talk about extreme political and social chaos! i just hope nothing lke this will happen here in the Philippines, although the situation in Pakistan is somewhat identical to the political happenings here if you know what i'm talking about (e.g. Erap &Bhutto, presidential pardon &sharing of power, graft allegations & graft allegations, calls for ouster of Musharraf r&calls for ouster of GMA), let's just hope Pakistan will be able to handle and survive the possible havoc that Bhutto's death might ensued. hay, sana hindi talaga ganoong magkagulo ng matindi don, kawawa naman mga OFW natin.

we're only hours away before Christmas and perhaps almost everyone in the blogging community is giving some Yuletide blog post right now. oh well my dear reader/s, a blessed and wonderful Noel to all of you! and my gift, to you my beloved reader/s, is a gift of john cameron mitchell (director of shortbus..people, shortbus..hehehe) . i give you hedwig and the angry inch, one of the most extraordinary musicals every made.
some will probably pass this as a gay flick. but for me it is more than that, because it transcends sexuality. it is more of an odyssey of a human being searching for his/her "other half". it is not merely a story of love to the opposite, or in hedwig's case same, sex but it is more of a story of self love. also, john cameron mitchell is such a joy to watch, not to mention he's sooo hot regardless if he's in drag or if he's acting straight.yes he directed the film and at the same time play hedwig's character. that's multitasking for you. although i am not really a big fan of rock and roll, i find songs very exhilirating. every track gives me goosebumps. kudos to john cameron mitchell's really good singing voice! oh i love this movie! if only i can share it to you my dearest i will!!

these were taken last saturday when miguel, jayson and i went to UP Diliman to have isaw and to hang out since all the starbucks outlets in trinoma were so darn crowded (coffee for lunch?!is coffee now part of southbeach diet?haha!). i know this post is so redundant since jayson had already posted our pics in his multiply site but heck, everybody has a little narcissist in them.hahaha!
