Hindi talaga ako poet, higit sa lahat hindi ako romantic.pero sinubukan ko na rin.enjoy.*wink*
Insomia
Alas tres ng umaga.
Pucha nakaidlip ata ako!
Tatlong libro, isang kilong readings
At milyones na website pa
Ang dapat basahin.
Wala pa sa kalahati ang
Nababasa ko.
Nyetang prof yan!
Pasikat. Paksyet.
Alas tres ng umaga.
Luluwa na ang mata ko
Kakapanood ng TV.
Ewan! Bakit ba kasi
Ako nagpapauto sa mga
Basurang pinipilit ipapanood
Sa akin ng mga kapitalista?!
Siguro tanga lang talaga ako.
Ay naku may sequel pa pala to.
Alas tres ng umaga.
Kanina pa ako gising.
Santambak pa din ang labada.
Ayoko kasing simulang paikutin
Ang washing machine ng alas otso
Dahil tiyak, agawan na naman yan.
Unahan.
Amazing race sa samampayan
Alas tres ng umaga.
Gising pa ako
Sabi kasi ni Elen antayin ko daw
Ang pagsilip ng Pluto sa mahiyaing si Earth.
Huli na daw to sabi nya,
Dahil ang susunod na enkwentro
Ay isang milyong dekada pa uli magaganap.
Alas tres ng umaga.
Nagbibilang pa din ako ng tupa.
Four thousand, four million
Ilang tupa na nga ba yun?
Hindi pa ako di ako inaantok.
Anak ng tupa!
Sheep!
Alas tres ng umaga.
Pauwi pa lang ako.
Ayus mag- tip ang bundat ng matandang yun.
Tatlong daan, isang giling.
Dalawang daan, kunting kiliti.
Matinong agahan at tanghalian
Na naman to.
Pero tulog muna.
Alas tres ng umaga.
Hindi pa ako tapos mag rosary.
Hail mary, ama namin, glory be.
Hala ka, napikit na aking mga mata.
Alas tres ng umaga.
Tatlong redhorse na ang tumumba.
Pero ako at si pare,
Buhay na buhay pa.
Anong araw ba bukas?
Nyeta, aabsent na lang ako.
Hangover na naman sigurado.
Alas tres ng umaga
Gising pa nga ako?
Bakit kasi alanganin ang shift ko
Yan tuloy mukha na ko yung zombie,
Sa Dawn of the Dead.
Naiintindihan pa kaya ng kausap ko?
Hello sir, magandang umaga!
Ay kano pala ang kausap ko.. Opo..

i wonder why martin scorcese wasn't able to bag the highly coveted best director award in oscar's in the earlier stage of his career.now i wonder how he did in the departed that he had finally able to caught the elusive statuette; i haven't seen this movie yet. but after watching the taxi driver i really believe he should have been awarded best director a long time ago.
i think taxi driver is an astute vigilante flick. intead of creating merely a gorefest just to prove a point, scorcese probe into the mind of an ordinary cabbie who had been exposed to the decadence and violence of city before and after dark. initially, especially for "visual" viewers (those who temporarily suspend any brain activity while watching a movie. simply put, they JUST watch the movie), taxi driver may appear to be a bit slow and boring. no plethoria of guns and murders whatsoever. i think, in the first half of the movie, scorcese focus on the character development of travis, the cabbie. how he started out as a mere observer of the vile realities of life he is part of, how he became obsessed with the idea of exterminating the "scums of the streets", and eventually killing some of these scums himself. the thing i like about the way the story unfolded is that travis didn't just become as a heartless creep going on a killing spree because he just feel like doing it. sure he killed those pimps by virtue of free will but he has his reasons; he thinks no one can clean up the mess but him. the scene where travis had a convesation with the presidential candidate, senator palantine, is the movie's way of justifying his brutal recourse. when travis said his biggest concern is the way the city had turned into a collosal dumpster of the society's trash, the politician only argued that it is a rather tough job to make the city spick-and-span.
the musical score is also outstanding. the sexy feel of the background music while the camera hovers to the carnage is very tormenting it gave me goosebumps beyond words. rather ironic, rather disturbing. no wonder it bagged the best musical score in the 1970something Academy (a good consolatio for the scorcese?). maybe i am just too much of pseudo-film critic but i reckon this movie had been an inspiraton to some of my favorite director's, wong kar wai, works such as happy together and chungking express when it comes to musical score and cinematography. the slow or jazz music, the vivid colors, the camera movements, the shouts, the distant characteristics of the protagonist. try watching these movies and you'll understand what i am talking about.

+ have to find cheap copies of cather in the rye and lord of the flies. yes you read it right.i may had splurged over books even before my IBM stint, but this time i am running out of cash and i need some qualityreadings to keep my head working during these idle times.
+ curse a walk to remember and to mandy moore's chin!! (weird, i have a vcd copy of that movie.i got it for PhP25..bought it because its cheap.. talk about bargain price for a piece of crap..hardyharhar!!!)
+ i have to watch the big screen debut (is it really their debut?im not quite sure) of the simpsons. i never careless about the harry pottermovie but i'm still gonna be seeing it anyway. pop culture sedation and blind following.have they let alfonso cuaron do the remaining HP intallments since the third HP, maybe i still have a pretty good reason to look forward Harry's big screen comeback.now things have changed. the simpsons over anything.
+ i am desperately in need of the following installers:Abobe Premiere 6.5, Adobe Photoshop 7.0and Adobe After Effect. the Pro and Pro 2.0 version of Premiere is a bit problematic especiallyif the clip is from a vcd or dvd although this version is more user- friendly.too complicated to elaborate. i am confuse myself.
+ quiapo trip with jayson this saturday. i wish mayor lim haven't thought of raiding my this cinephiles' haven yet. still have to look for loads of titles.
+ to unemployed fresh graduates, stay away from reality bites and make murakami's dance dance dance your new BFF. the former is rather harsh and the latter is more symphatetic, or maybe apathetic.
+to hell with those who sneered at me whenever i proclaim my undying adulation to bjork. i don't freakin care if you victims of mass- produced, capitalist trash take indulgence over cueshe. die!!!
+i need new glasses. i broke my old one last time when i toss it to someone, a mental hologram of someone for that.
+i am the paragon of emotional schism.
+my favorite soudtrack to date is that of the virgin suicide. rather complacent sounding and very hypnotic.
+5th hair in 2 months? i still am considering it.
+guilty pleasure? hush....*wink*
+my call center stint was my most effective diet program to date. i dropped some weight without any intentionsof really losing some. whoever disagrees is just insecure.
+i love bamboo's probinsyana. i just wanna strut like a Betsy Johnson gal. now justin timberlake's sexy back has a new understudy.
+robert de niro is a major hottie some 30 or so years ago. if the taxi driver is as sensually ragged as he is, i am very much prepared for a joyride.
+daniel radcliffe now resembles an indefinitely shaped kamoteng kahoy. look at unevenly chiseled jaw, goodness! he still is cute ok, so don't curse me to death now people.i used to be a fan too. it just that i wish he didn't grow up. calling peter pan!
+love avril lavigne now that she shaved off her i-hate-you-world-i'm-gonna-wear-black-and kick-some-assimage. the color pink suits her.
+though the new album of maroon 5 (the official foreign band of UP. get it? maroon..haha!)sounds more upbeat right now, i think adam levine's singing voice is still sooo sensual.
+whenever i think of avril LAVIGNE i can't help but think of adam LEVINE as well.hardyharhar!!

notice the new trend in pinoy primetime tv: resurrecting of our all time favorite tv series and flicks like lupin, marimar and may minamahal to name a few. i for one am delightedwhen they remaked may minamaha, because before i even develop this distinct taste for movies i am already considering this flick as one of my all time favorites. i, as a matter offact, have seen this movie for nth times. ahihi!! moving on....
in any case it seems that the entire country have been once more getting hooked to thisadaptations so i figured why not make a pinoy version of the very first and well-loved instiknobela (credits to nea for the term) that hit the country by storm. do i still have toelaborate? everybody, hail to F4!!! i was just in my first year in UP then and i remembered rushing to go back to my boarding house before the clock stikes 430 and have early dinnerwith anne and janine so that we could watch the meteor garden in our landlady's carinderia.talk about being low life.
out of boredom perhaps, i started "casting" for the pinoy version of meteor garden with the help of nea. we had this SMS conference that lasted for almost 2 hours i think. come on, the story is already there, the characters are already established. we only need the local casts.so abs and gma or whoever your representatives are, read this. i am dead serious about it people.try to consider.
sanchai- sarah geronimo
dao ming xe- jake cuenca
hua zhe lei- mikee of PBB (the chinito guy who is so intelligent he figured out his attraction to kim chu while inside kuyas house is only artificial. kudos!)
character of vaness wu- john pratts
character of ken zhu- john wayne sace
dao ming fong- cherie gil
auntie jade- caridad sanchez
sanchai's mom- eugene domingo
sanchai' dad- the one who played as eugene's hubby in one of claudine's telenovelas. he's character's name there was gaspar. so there.
shao yu- eda nolan (the girl we know very well as juniper)
dao ming xe's sister- dimples romana
the model lei loves- maja salvador
there, my own localized meteor garden cast. yes it must be rather awkward for the taste of the entertainment capitalists but i don't freakin care. about juniper and mikee, i am planning to send them in a bootcamp sort of acting workshop to prepare them for this big project.no shaina and rayver please. no freakin way.any objections, talk to the casting director.*wink*

the moment my salary registered in the ATM monitor, i instantly withdrew some and rushed to the nearest Powerbooks Store (nearness is relative, hence for me the nearest Powerbooks is the largest i've seen, the one in Ayala *wink*). and grabbed a copy of haruki murakami's dance dance dance. i am not particularly a fast reader, though for like half my life i spend it in reading loads of stuffs from tabloids to court decisions.. bottome line, i haven't finished reading it yet. nevertheless, do you still have to finish the entire cake just to know its good? *wink* listed are some of the thoughts to ponder from dance dance dance i find rather interesting.
x the capitalist world is a waste land-- i certainly agree! before the era of styrofoam lunchboxes and factory fumes, i world is literally green and if i am not mistaken in the outerspace, the earth is predominantly green. perhaps now its a techno-colored world out there.thanks to human race's profit generating endeavors, every sorts of waste is available anywhere. like your quintessential kwek kwek and fishballs. it's the capitalist world's legacy. just so we know it exists.
x apathy is the most effective, if not the best, policy-- like when you're doing stuffs just for the heck of it, it's sheer apathy. to go on with life without further hooplas and stuffs, try mentally sedating yourself ever once in a while. cheap complaceny is at reach.. do you follow? *wink* life will never suspend its usual course if you care that much.
x the so- called cultual shoveling-- cultural shoveling is like the sub topic of apathy.you're doing the things you're doing right now not because you wanted to do it but because nobody will do it. regardless of how you do it, the point is your just doing it. note the word just. if you're a bit cynical with life you'll simply utter "kudos!", believe me. well i think this one is half true. come on people, not all of us are happy with our endeavors right? the reason i quit the call center industry. but then my case is a bit different, even i quit many are willing to do the work i left. my case being the basis, is the call center industry classified as a part of our culture then? you get my point? reflect. *wink*
for now, these are all i can offer you. again, i am just getting started. it just that i am extremely overwhelmed by murakami's writings. oh by the way, harry potter premiere next week... i never care less... but i still gonna be watching it. my own definition of cultural shoveling.. or maybe pop culture tolerance...sedate me more then, please...*wink*

the sole job i am looking forward to after i left IBM had gone to the dumpster..wala na ang work kay consul assad...
yes i am sad. pero wala ng magagawa pa yun. i have to find new work quick.. pero i am still hoping he'll help me. as what he had promised..nakakasama ng loob, pero wala na akong magagawa... pero umasa ako.. hindi na ko naiiyak..naubos na ata..i think i'll just let life take its course...
ayoko mainis sa mundo dahil walang magagawa sa akin yun..pero mahirap din umarte na ok lang..anu ba yan!!nakakainis naman..nevertheless i am still glad na nakaalis na ako sa IBM. yun nga lang, i am extemely disappointed.... oh well, what's life without some twists.. kung baga sa pelikula, dapat me character development para hindi boring... *wink*
