believe it or not i got teary eyed when penelope cruz was announced as best supporting actrees in this year's oscars.. she should have won years ago in her performance in volver, but you know hollywood. right after my academic travails, i will definitely watch my vicky, cristina barcelona dvd i bought a month ago.hehehe..

by the way, the award for kate winslet is sooo overdued. with such a talent, i cannot belive this is her recognition in the academy. she could have been best actress in her "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" performance. and jim carrey should have been best actor..oh well..
