PELIKULA!!PELIKULA!!

i am more of a Sundance fan, but this year's Cannes Film Festival really excites me :)

KINATAY/THE EXECUTION OF P

i hope Brilliante Mendoza's Kinatay (Engligh Title: The Execution of P) bag the Palm D'Or award. Kinatay was screened yesterday in Cannes but there's only like a few reviews in rottentomatoes.com..haven't read it yet, maybe i'll do it after my retake :)


INDEPENDENCIA

the trailer of independencia never fails to give me goosebumps, what more if i see the entire film..judging from the trailer (hahaha i'm a subjective bitch), i reckon it is a very strong contender for this year's Un Certain Regard.
